Pumpkin Pasta Recipe

A simple Winter family pasta. Making use of garden grown pumpkin and fresh sage. Plus five of our favorite pumpkin recipes

  • 400 grams pumpkin cut into small cubes and baked
  • 1 tablespoon oil of choice
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • drizzle maple syrup
  • fresh sage leaves
  • cracked pepper
  • pasta


  1. Bake the pumpkin for approximately 20-25 minutes and set aside
  2. Set a pot of water to boil and add the pasta to cook once it is boiling
  3. Add oil to a pan to heat
  4. Add the garlic and stir until fragrant
  5. Add the pumpkin and stir to coat in the garlic
  6. In a separate pan add the pecans and heat over a dry heat (no oil is required)
  7. After a minute drizzle over some maple syrup and stir letting the syrup caramelize for a couple of minutes prior to removing from the heat
  8. Drain the pasta and add the pumpkin, pecans and dress with fresh sage, crumbled feta and black pepper.
