Steak and Cous Cous Salad

If you follow us on Facebook, you would know that my parents arrived for a long weekend recently with numerous kilos of fresh figs from dad’s tree.
Figs rot very quickly once picked so I set to work using them.
We are enjoying eating the figs dried and have been adding them to all manner of dishes. This meal has been one of our favorites.
You could use fresh figs if you wish.
We really enjoyed the different textures in this salad. With the inclusions of spinach, zucchini and chick peas it is a wholesome and satisfying family meal.
Perfect for a warm Summer evening.
