Grown in our vegetable garden and collected for dinner. Artichokes are one of my personal challenges (along with sour dough bread) to master. The plant in our garden is majestic at the moment and full of lovely flower buds. It has taken two years to get to this point of productivity. This recipe was inspired by a show I watched on television called Regional Italian Cuisine . They looked so fabulous I had to give the cooking method a try myself. Read on for a vegetarian Italian recipe.

I’ve never tried stuffed artichokes before, only braised as a mezze (from the deli). Looks great!
Thanks Lisa, they are worth a try.
Your artichokes are so gorgeous. 🙂 Mine have been ravished twice by goats but keep coming back, bless them. 🙂 Hopefully they will start producing soon now that they’re in a safe place. 🙂 I love roasting mine with lemon, garlic, and mint. I’d love to try yours. 🙂
